Gurwitz and Cantú on the mic for one of several international Super Bowl broadcasts

This special edition of the weekly Sports ‘n’ More PR newsletter has been in the works for nearly 24 months … I mean, hours.
In this past Thursday’s newsletter, I promised to share the video of Telemundo’s Miguel Gurwitz and Rolando Cantú before Super Bowl LIX kicked off, and I’m a woman of my word. See the quick clip on LinkedIn
For the second straight year, I worked with the Telemundo duo on Radio Row, where they showed—like American football itself—their reach extends far beyond Spanish-speaking football fans.

Miguel Gurwitz and Rolando Cantú return to Telemundo for Super Bowl LIX later today.
To those who asked, Cantú is the same Rolando Cantú who briefly played for the Arizona Cardinals. The first player from the Mexican collegiate system to play in the NFL, he remains the Cardinals’ manager for international business, a job he’s held for nearly 18 years.

Catch Super Bowl LIX from New Orleans with Emmy Award-winner Gurwitz and Emmy-nominated Cantú on Telemundo for the biggest Spanish-language broadcast in Super Bowl history. Theirs is among the reported 30-plus languages the game will be called to more than 130 countries.
This year’s home/English-language TV broadcast belongs to FOX Sports and its roster of legends from pregame through confetti.
Not able to watch 📺? You’re in luck because Kevin Harlan, Kurt Warner and Laura Okmin will give you stats, facts and fun on Westwood One.
Ok — I’m starting to sound like a commercial, so just enjoy no matter how, where or in what language you watch or listen. 🏈
P.S. 🏀 Before football — the incomparable Hubie Brown will broadcast his last NBA game when the Philadelphia 76ers visit the Milwaukee Bucks. Alongside Mike Breen on ABC at 2 p.m., EST, celebrate Hubie’s special basketball career from where it all started.
Super Shoutout — Lots of thanks to New Orleans for its hospitality last week, especially to Michael from Louisiana Fish Fry Products. He gave me stats for what his crew served on Radio Row, but I must have used the napkin I wrote them on for napkin purposes. I can tell you the scribble showed double and triple-doubles in pounds — of chicken, shrimp, crawfish and gumbo. A taste of Louisiana for sure!
