September 11, 2001, was the most horrific day on American soil. It also united Americans in a way we haven’t seen since.

As we remember those lost on this day 25 years ago, along with survivors who continue to hold loved ones in their hearts, let’s also remember what it felt like to be truly united. Honor them with love by respecting your neighbors, whether they’re next door or on the next continent. 

Strength, resolve and human decency are within us. Restore them and let them shine every day. We have and always will be better together.
